Problems with Entourage (where is my e-mail?)

Encountering a wacky problem with Microsoft Entourage this week.... I don't see any new e-mail in my inbox. Anything that arrived after Tuesday 19th January is hidden from me. The weird thing is that I can access these recent messages through webmail (or by logging on to a Windows PC and using Outlook). Have applied Microsoft and Apple updates, cleared directories, checked settings, etc. All to no avail. Hoping to find a solution soon. Having to use webmail is particularly irksome.
