Announcements:

• Here are additional regression practice problems and some pre-midterm practice problems.
• Note: On Thursday, 6/7, the 2:15pm - 3:00pm office hours session has been rescheduled to 4:45pm.
• FINAL: Section 603 - Tuesday, June 12^th at 8:45am; Section 604 - Monday, June 11^th at 2:45pm.
• Reminder: The class session on Tuesday, 6/5 will be a tutorial. Remember that the tutorial is optional and is intended for students who would like extra help preparing for the final exam.
• Quiz #7 will be on Thursday, 6/7. It will be on Correlation and Simple Linear Regression. Work problem set #1, #2, #3 and #4.
• Reminder: We will have a 45 minute lab session on Thursday, 5/31 (Lewis 1309). The session for section 603 will be at 1:00pm and the session for section 604 at 4:15pm. Attendance is optional but all are invited.
• Quiz #6 will be on Thursday, 5/31. It will be on Sample Size Determination (p) and Hypothesis Testing (p). Work problems #2 and #3 at this link as well as set #1 for practice. We will defer Correlation until the next quiz.
• Quiz #5 will be on Thursday, 5/24. It will be on Hypothesis Testing (m_y) only. Work problem set #1, set #2, extras and sample quiz (with solutions) for practice.
• Reminder: If you have not submitted Project #1 please do so by start of class on Tuesday, 5/15. Project #1 will not be accepted after this due date and time.
• Reminder: We will have a 45 minute lab session on Tuesday, 5/15 (Lewis 1308). The session for section 603 will be at 1:00pm and the session for section 604 at 4:15pm. Attendance is optional but all are invited.
• No quiz on Thu, 5/10. The next quiz will be Thu, 5/17 and will be on SAS.
• Reminder: We will have a midterm tutorial on Tuesday, 5/1. The tutorial session will be in our usual classroom and will be the last 60 minutes of class. The first 25 minutes will be spent discussing Quiz #3. New lecture material will be deferred until next week. Remember that the tutorial is optional and is intended for students who would like extra help preparing for the exam.
• MIDTERM - Thursday, May 3^rd (review tips)
• Quiz #3 will be on Thursday, 4/26. It will be on Sampling Distributions. Practice problem sets: #1, #2 and #3 are available.
• Reminder: We will have a 45 minute lab session on Tuesday, 4/17 (Lewis 1309). The session for section 603 will be at 1:00pm and the session for section 604 at 4:15pm. Attendance is optional but all are invited.
• Quiz #2 will be on Thursday, 4/19. It will be on the Normal Distribution - Percentile Problems and the Student t Distribution. Two sets of percentile problems, set #1 and set #2, as well as two sets of Student t problems, set #1 and set #2, are available for practice.

• Quiz #1 will be on Thursday, 4/12. It will be on the material covered in class on the Normal Distribution. You will need to know the properties of the Normal Distribution and will need to know how to solve these basic problems as well as lookup and transformation problems.
