Announcements:

• FINAL: Section 502: Wed, Mar 20^th at 8:45am; Section 503: Tue, Mar 19^th at 2:45pm
• Reminder: The class session (optional) on Tuesday, 3/12 will be a lab. It is intended for students who need help to get started on Project #3. It will be in CNA 401.
• Quiz #7 will be on Thursday, 3/14. It will be on Correlation and Simple Linear Regression (Theorem 1a only). Work problem set #1 and #2.
• Note: The last day to submit Project #2 will be Thursday, 3/14.
• Reminder: We will have a tutorial after the quiz on Thursday, 3/14. Remember that the tutorial is optional and is intended for students who would like extra help preparing for the final exam.
• Quiz #6 will be on Thursday, 3/7. It will be on Sample Size Determination (p) and Hypothesis Testing (p). Work problems #2 and #3 at this link as well as these problems for practice.
• Quiz #5 will be on Thursday, 2/28. It will be on Hypothesis Testing (m_y) only. Work problem set #1, set #2, extras and sample quiz (with solutions) for practice.
• Quiz #4 will be on Thursday, 2/21. It will be on SAS.
• Reminder: Lab sessions (optional) for Project #2 will be held on Wed, 2/20 @ 4:30pm-5:30pm and Fri, 2/22 @ 12:00noon-1:15pm. Both sessions will be in CNA 401.

• Reminder: Project #1 (see this link) is due on 2/7.
• Quiz #2 will be on Thursday, 1/24. It will also be on the Normal Distribution but will cover the Standard Normal distribution, Transformation Rule, and Percentile problems. Try these lookup, transformation, and percentile #1, #2 practice problems.
• The SAS@Home link is now active. If your name was announced in class then please follow the posted instructions to get a copy of SAS for home.
• Quiz #1 will be on Thursday, 1/17 and will only cover Properties of the Normal Distribution. You will need to know how to solve these basic problems.
