We will cast all faces in two groups. Pick a partner and prepare each other for casting.
1. Producing alginate negative

Week Three
April 20

Making Prosthetic Nose or other feature
Demo1: Producing plaster copy of nose and mounting in a plaster bed
Practical: do it
Paint review: corrective makeup for Reskin theatre (15 minutes)
Demo 2: sculpting new nose in clay
Demo 3: preparing clay nose for negative mold |
Finish sculpting nose and prepare for final casting
Write up notes from nose mold making including materials list (*graded)

Week Four
April 27 |
Casting Nose
Demo 1: casting negative nose mold
Demo 2: cleaning mold and slush molding with latex
Practical: work on above for 1 hour
Making Ventilated hair Pattern
Making a mustache pattern and setting up block for ventilating
