  • Information Services is working on a new privacy setting with the programmers at Digication: once enabled, it will allow an additional privacy setting so that students can elect to publish content to members of one or more of the courses they are connected with.  It will then be available to the instructor and students for that course, rather than the entire DePaul community of users or public.
  • For the short term -- for the first few weeks of AQ, probably, students and faculty will access Digication via Campus Connect, and will have to log into Digication a second time. This is a temporary issue they should have resolved soon, according to IS, requiring only one Campus Connect login
  • Information Services is working with Academic Affairs and the Office of the General Counsel to create language that students will see the first time they log into Digication, alerting them that any materials they put online and give public-viewing permission will be just that -- PUBLIC. (This resolves any FERPA concerns.)
