Announcements:
- FINAL: Wednesday, July 17th
at 6:00pm; Lewis 1509.
- Reminder: For COL
students, remember that
the handouts mentioned during the Monday, 7/15 session
are available in COL (see "Course Document").
- Reminder: We will have an optional
tutorial after the break on Monday, 7/15. An informal
lab session will be held after the tutorial. Apart from the material
covered at the end of class on Wednesday, 7/10, which will be reviewed
on Monday, 7/15, no new material will be
covered.
- Distance Learning: Remember to contact either Kelley Prosser
or me to make final exam arrangements.
- Problem set
#5 will be discussed
on Monday, 7/15. Review the lecture notes on

- Reminder: If you requested a second extension for Project #1 then
Wednesday, 7/10 will be the last day to submit it
without penalty. Also, note that Project #1 will not be accepted after
Monday, 7/15.

Sample Size Determination and
Hypothesis Testing for the mean.

- Reminder: An optional SAS session will be held
after the midterm (i.e. at about 8:00pm - 9:00pm). The session is intended for
students who would like extra help with the coding component of the
project.

- Reminder: The final hour of the session on Wednesday, 6/26 will
be a tutorial. The tutorial is intended for students who
would like extra help preparing for the exam and so the tutorial is optional.
Also, the hour preceding the tutorial will be spent discussing SAS and
Project #1.

start of class on Wednesday, 6/26. Review lecture notes on
the Sampling Distributions.

start of class on Wednesday, 6/19. Work
these problems for extra practice.
- Distance Learning: Please complete the
questionnaire
discussed in class and email it to me by end of day Tuesday, 6/18.
- We will review assigned problem sets
at the start of each Wednesday session. These problem sets will be posted
on the prior Monday.
We will not have weekly quizzes but will have a Midterm.
