Class four
  1. Download short paper D and either accept as-is or suggest revisions
  2. Download the final draft of Essay #1 from BlackBoard
    • Print essays and give students minimal marking on grammar errors in 1st/2nd paragraphs
    • If some papers still require major revisions and corrections, tell students to talk to you during the break or after class. Don't assume written feedback will provide adequate guidance
    • Bring papers to class so students can make final corrections on the printed papers. Errors bigger than sentence level will require another rewrite.
  3. Shift from describing and analyzing visuals to summarizing and analyzing outside readngs
    • Print 5 different reviews (see links) and make enough copies of each for all students
    • For in-class short paper E, students will summarize a movie review
  4. Prepare and photocopy grammar exercises for homework
