Class four
  1. Return printed copies of Essay #1 and give students 15 minutes to make final corrections based on minimal marking feedback.
  2. Collect polished, hand-corrected final drafts of Essay #1
  3. Start working on Essay #2 by explaining a short writing assignment and giving students 30 minutes to write it. (This is a mini-version of Essay #2)
  4. Collect short assignments
  5. Give students grammar exercises to work on for 45 minutes
  6. While students do grammar, skim short writing assignments and make a few notes on those that need direction
  7. Discuss and correct grammar exercises (45 minutes)
  8. Discuss strengths and areas to strengthen for short writing assignments and return them
  9. Discuss Essay #2
  10. Assign first draft of Essay #2 for homework
  11. Have students type and polish short writing assignment
