  • The course will combine group discussion, lecture, and topic related exercises both in class and as (group) homework. Many classes will also have lab time where you will work on the material with the opportunity to get help from me while you work.

  • Attendance is mandatory and students must come to class prepared to participate in discussion. Be sure to check the Website for the class regularly as things change and there will be regular updates.

  • Discussion will revolve around lecture, reading, and project related topics.

  • The assigned readings will assist you with your projects. Doing the reading will help you understand the material. Quizzes will commence if the reading is ignored. Info from the reading will be on the midterm.

  • Participation points are 20% of the final grade. If you are too shy to speak in class, it is OK to e-mail questions/comments to me and I will relate them to the class.
