In order to create animated Gifs you need images to animate. You can find images for free on the web or create your own. Start with something simple- circles and squares with simple alterations, flowers losing or gaining petals etc. You need an animated gif compiler to make the animation, and an image editor to make the images. Find either or both at tucows or download.com
If you make your own image create one as a template and then alter it and save it as a new version with each alteration. Make sure all the images are the same size (height and width should not change) and keep the bit size as small as possible since the image must constantly be reloaded and large image files will make the download time long. You save each image separately and the gif compiler will put them together for you. All gif compilers will require you to specify the height and width of the image, the frames per 100th of a second (15 is a good number), how many times to show the cycle (you can "loop" this) and then you give a name to the sequence as one gif. |
