Workshops, in-class workshops, and Writing Center Presentations are no longer available.
From 2010-2025, the Writing Center Workshops Team conducted about 200 writing-based in class workshops a year. During these workshops, writers practiced writing skills, built and shared knowledge, and gained new perspectives on their work through exploratory exercises, discussions, and other collaborative activities.
Popular topics included: ePortfolios & Visual Rhetoric; Citations Styles (APA, MLA, Chicago Manual of Style, AP); Working in Groups; Business Communications; Conducting Peer Review; Writing Personal Statements; and Writing Literature Reviews.
