The final is comprehensive so you should review the lecture notes, all quizzes, homework assignments (i.e. problem sets) and the midterm. There will be no questions on SAS syntax but you are expected to know how to use the output of selected SAS procedures (see below). The exam is scheduled to last 120 minutes but can be completed in less than 75 minutes. You can expect 3, or maybe 4, questions each with multiple parts.

Check the midterm review if you need practice on the material covered up to the midterm. See the following material for more recent topics:

• Independent Samples (n₁ or n₂ small)
  
• Non-Parametric Methods
• The Regression Model
• Regression & 2-Sample Problem; Multiple Regression

Remember that it is important to know how to:

1. Interpret the coefficients of a regression equation.
2. State the General Linear Model.
3. Use the output from the means, univariate and reg procedures. That is, you should be able to find the basic statistics and p-values discussed in class.
   Note: There will be no questions on SAS syntax.

For practice on SLR and "Inferences about SLR Parameters" problems, review these lecture notes and work these practice problems. Also, to further aid your preparation here are past questions and the solutions.

Following are several important details:

• The exam will be closed book. I will provide tables (both versions of the standard Normal and Student t tables will be provided), scratch paper, and all required formulae.
• Calculators will be needed.
• Project #3 is due at the start of the exam.
