Faculty Focus has published a free report that provides some perspective on Twitter use in Higher Education. The PDF can be downloaded here: The 20-page report used survey data conducted between July and August of this year. About 2,000 respondents completed they survey. I wonder about the long term viability of twitter and where it will endure. I think both the users and the programmers behind twitter are unsure where their network will be in the coming decade
True, but the immediate nature has transformed how some now communicate in conferences and class.
