Flash1 Project

HCI 430 -- Flash Projects F1, F2 and F3

Use the flash drawing tools to create three flash movies submitted as Flash1, Flash2 and Flash3.

For each of the projects Flash1, Flash2 and Flash3, containing the .fla file and .swf files. You are not required to upload your project ectweb. Name your zip file FlashnSmith.zip, where n is one of 1, 2 or 3 and Smith is your last name.

Use the Flash drawing tools to create a movie with at least one frame, more if you wish. For people new to flash, this can be as simple as this bumble bee movie clip that I will be using in an example on 5/3. Use layers to separate the various parts of your scene. (There are the layers used for the BumbleBee Example: head, eyes, mouth, body, stripes, legs, body border, wings).
Experienced Flash users should use this as a chance to try out something that interests them.
If you do something tricky, help me understand what you did including a readme file in your submitted zip file.
Include buttons (or other objects to which events can be attached) and ActionScript event handlers that modifies one or more of the objects on the canvas. Modify the objects by changing their property values.

Use this as a chance to experiment with aspects of Flash that interest you.

Create a flash protoype of your class project interface, including buttons and an area for displaying text, images and movie clips. At this point, no ActionScript code is required; it will be added later. This Flash3 project will serve as your low fidelity prototype. You can post the .swf file to your group's message board to get their feedback for your final project.
