The
weekend is quickly approaching. Where will you go? What will you do? The
possibilities are endless.
There are so many fun and entertaining
things to do in Chicago. These sights are definitely not to be missed:
Buckingham Fountain in Grant
Park - The fountain runs from 10am-11pm, with special light displays from
9pm-11pm.
Signature Room at the 95th,
John Hancock building - Have drinks in the lounge area while admiring
the view.
Window shopping on Michigan
Avenue - Try on a $1000 dress, suit, or jewelry item just for kicks.
Navy Pier - The giant ferris
wheel here offers an amazing view of Chicago's skyline.
If you're patient enough to
wait for tickets, be an audience member with an attitude at one of the
city's talk shows:
- Oprah Winfrey, 312-591-9222
- Jenny Jones, 312-836-9485
- Jerry Springer, 312-321-5365
Goose Island Brewery in Lincoln
Park produces more than 40 different types of ales and lagers. The brewery
offers free tours at 6pm every Wednesday and 3pm every Sunday. The tours
are followed by beer tastings, of course.
When the sun goes down, gather
your friends and head to Brew and View at the Vic. Movies and beer are
served up here - what more could you ask for?
If you still have the energy,
main stage comedy improvisation at the Second City is free to the public
starting at 1am Saturday and 10pm on Sunday.
