HCI 201 Multimedia and the World Wide Web

By default, frames separated with borders.
Browsers handle the border-manipulation attributes differently.
Netscape recognizes:
- FRAMEBORDER = "yes" and "no"
- BORDER = # of pixels for border thickness (when FRAMEBORDER="yes")
Internet Explorer recognizes:
- FRAMEBORDER = "1" or "yes" and "0" or "no"
- FRAMESPACING = # of pixels for the space between frames
To ensure borders are handled appropriately in all browsers, you must code redundant information, such as:
