Mid-Term Project -- Due: October 11
Purpose:
Demonstrate increased knowledge of HTML and design.
Show solid design, content, and format skill.
Demonstrate ability to translate ideas stated in Homework #2 into pages for Web publication.
Show ability to publish documents on the WWW.
Present work to the class.
Part 1. Create your Web site (140 pts.)
- Create the Web site that you described in homework #2.

- Format
- Aesthetic Design
- Construction
- Creativity
- Performance
- Appropriate use of images, list, tables and links.
- Publish your site on the Web by Monday, October 11. I must be able to access and evaluate your work.
Options:
- Post your site on the Shrike server, OR
- Post your site to another Web server to which you have access.
Part 2. Document (40 pts.)
- Create a document (1-2 pages) that briefly describes the content and features of your Web site.
- Describe any changes or variations from what you had proposed in Homework #2 and explain your reasons for making changes.
- Include the URL for your Web site.
Part 3. Presentation (20 pts.)
- Using our classroom facilities, present your Web site to the class.
- Briefly walk through your work, discuss what you learned, what surprised you, what you enjoyed.
- You will be given 5 minutes for your presentation with extra time to answer questions from the class.
- You must be present on October 11 for the mid-term presentations. Everyone will be expected to stay for all the presentations.
