HCI 201 Multimedia and the World Wide Web

Final Project -- Due: November 22
Purpose:
Demonstrate your ability to integrate all of the material we have covered during the quarter to create an excellent web site.
Demonstrate your ability to respond to feedback and communicate that response.
Demonstrate your ability to write complete and valid HTML code.
Part 1. The Web Site (225 pts.)
- Develop and publish your site on the Web.
- Bring a copy of your site on diskette(s) as backup. You will need to hand the diskette copy in to me, so make sure it is not your only copy of the source of your site.
- In addition to the diskettes, turn in a piece of paper with:
- Your name
- The URL for your site
- NOTES:
- Remember.....develop your own content....don't just link to someone else's.
- No final projects will be accepted after Monday, November 22nd.
- I will be grading the final projects on Tuesday, November 23rd. DO NOT move or alter your sites until after that date.
- I will be grading from the sites that you have posted on the Web. The diskettes are backups in the event of server problems.

Part 2. Response to Review Partner's Feedback (75 pts.)
- Document how you have responded to the feedback given by your review partner from Homework #6.
- What did you do with the feedback you were given?
- Note any changes that you have made based on the feedback. Also comment on any points to which you did not respond.
- Prepare this as a hard copy document to turn in to me.
Part 3. Presentation of Your Web Site (50 pts.)
- Using our classroom facilities, present your site to the class.
- You will be given 5 minutes to present your site.
- Show all of what YOU have developed. Don't show more than one or two screens (maximum) of outside sites.
