This page contains a list of possible mobile agent applications.
- Stock Monitoring Agents - An agent which checks stock prices for you
and notifies you of fluctuations of stock prices or swings in the market on a real time
basis. Also is able to provide reports in real time directly to your computer.
- Cubs Ticket Agents - An agent which monitors Tickemaster when bleacher
seats go on sale and purchases tickets for you for days requested. Beats waiting in
line for hours and not getting the days you really wanted (personal experience - JA).
- Product Monitoring Agents - An agents which finds the best prices for
certain products such as books, electronics, computers, etc. and notifies you with prices
and locations of stores. A good demonstration of the book shopping agent can be

- Travel and Reservation Agents - An agent which you specify your plans (i.e.
airline, car rental, hotel room, restaurant) and it make the reservations for you.
Also agents which you specify vacation packages you would like and informs you if
accommodations are available or even makes them for you on your behalf.
- News Monitoring Agent - An agents which collects information for you
based on topic and provide the article to you as they happen.
The list above is not meant to be a sum of all possible agents. These are only
examples we came up with or have read about in our research for this project. There
are multitudes of agents which could exist and it is really up to us to decide what an
agent should consist of and functions it should perform.
