If anyone is interested there will be a tutoring orientation for the planning for college success program. The program’s focus is on interaction with grade school kids in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. However there is an opportunity to get involved with kids kindergarten through 5th grade if that is what you are interested in. The program is available Monday thru Friday from 9am - 2:30pm and you are able to make your own schedule. If you are interested in becoming a part of PFSC then you must attend the training on which will be held on a Friday @ 2pm, it will probably last around 45 minutes. More information will be sent out in email. For any questions email Shannon Lersch.

Another event planned for PFCS is March to College Day which will be a day where kids can come to DePaul get a tour of the campus and be able to attend a presentation that will teach them how to fill out a college application. For any other suggestions on what else would be educational to kids on March to College Day please email Shannon any of your ideas!

There is a community service event scheduled on January 31 at the Chicago Christian League where we will serve brunch at the soup kitchen from 9:30am - 12pm. We will probably take public transportation. Shayna will email out more information regarding this event.

Keep in mind there will be a Toiletries Drive to benefit the Veteran’s home coming up. Jibran will also keep you updated on this event by email!
