NSCS has invited 12 business leaders to sit on the Professional Leadership Council. Each of the companies that the business leaders represent have made a contribution to the NSCS Scholarship fund. Requirements of the NSCS Professional Leadership Council:
The business leaders must oversee their companys recruitment of college students for jobs and internships.
The 12 seats are industry specific and will be for the duration of two years. Other members of the same industries will have the opportunity to recruit NSCS members, but will not sit on the Professional Leadership Council during the same term.
Members of the Professional Leadership Council will recruit NSCS members on the NSCS website and at on-campus meetings.
Members of the Professional Leadership Council will provide insight to NSCS members via NSCS publications on economic conditions and job market trends.
All Professional Leadership
Council membership fees will be used exclusively for NSCS scholarships and
programming initiatives.

Look for NSCS Professional Leadership Council banners at NSCS Inductions this fall.
We have invited the VIPs of each Professional Leadership Council company to participate in an on-line chat with our members during the 2002-2003 academic year.
NSCS will inform you about campus events where recruiters from these companies will be. Make sure you stop by and introduce yourself, and dont forget to mention you are an NSCS member!
Professional Leadership Council members will utilize the NSCS Career Connection to post internship and job opportunities.
So far, six companies have signed on to the NSCS Professional Leadership Council. We encourage you to get to know them by reading through their web sites and meeting them in person when they are on your campus.
