Mission Statement The
Difficult Dialogue Committee's mission is to promote and convene respectful
and critical dialogues on the unique cultural and educational challenges
and responsibilities confronting historically excluded or marginalized
people, including differently abled, non-citizens and the disenfranchised,
people of color, queer, women and/or working class or poor. We are particularly
interested in exploring the tensions between academic freedom and hate
speech at DePaul University, seeking to safeguard and expand the former
without countenancing the latter . |
