General notes:

I'm a planetary scientist (Solar System astronomy; an odd combination of astronomy, physics, chemistry, geology, meteorology/atmospheres, and occasionally biology and paleontology) working as an independent consultant, primarily in science education. My research interests are comets and asteroids, and my favorite tool is ultraviolet spectroscopy. I rather enjoy the rest of the Solar System, and the Universe beyond, as well as interdisciplinary studies and metapatterns.

I work in:

Handy sites (a very preliminary list...)

Illinois State Standards: Standards by Learning Area
Astronomical Society of the Pacific
American Geophysical Union, and its Committee on Education and Human Resources
US Space Foundation Education
Roettger's Astronomer's Education Notebook - Organizations
