Advocacy Opportunities
No current advocacy opportunities are posted on this website. This is due largely to the fact that the website focuses on advocacy at the state level in Illinois, and the 2004 Illinois General Assembly will not begin until January.
However, the possibility remains that federal, local, or even state issues will be posted that will be of interest to those who are concerned about reducing poverty in the United States. We thus encourage you to check this section of the website ocassionally. Numerous opportunities for action will again be posted once anti-poverty issues from the 2004 Illinois General Assembly are available.
