Mission/Purpose/Composition
Mission
To bring together the Downtown Campus student
organizations in order to identify problems and work on solving them in a
creative and collaborative manner. Furthermore, with the help of DePaul
Administration and Faculty, the Downtown Campus
Community will benefit as a whole.
Purpose
The concentrated student leaders will be able to identify
potential student organizational issues, and seek
effective solutions in a collaborative manner. Also by
establishing interactive communication with the
universities administration/faculty and its internal
departments, students will be able to access information
quickly and adequately regarding changes within the
Dowtown Campus. In addition, the administration will be
able to get feedback efficiently from the students as well.
By bringing organizations together in a collaborative form,
there is a higher chance of building stronger
relationships within the Downtown DePaul Community as
well as with the business leaders in the surrounding area.
Composition
Student Executive Organization will consist of
representatives who are leaders within Downtown student
organizations, collaborating with a business partnership advisory board and
an administration/faculty Council.
