An SNL Faculty Designed Independent Study

To get started:

1. Browse the various components of this independent study; if you think you'd like to pursue it, REGISTER...consult the SNL Course Guide and/or quarterly registration letter for registration numbers and procedures. You must be admitted to the BA program to take an FDIS and have completed Research Seminar .

   Once you've registered you should pay your tuition by the published deadline (to avoid a late fee) ...you may not receive a bill promptly so the advice of the school's administration is to assume responsibility for tuition payment and not wait.
   If you have any questions, call the SNL Loop office at 312/362-8001.

2. Email me (the instructor) with your name, mailing address, telephone number, fax number (if you have one), and a few lines describing why you chose this independent study.

3. Read through all the major links of the home page to familiarize yourself with the design and requirements of the study; please get in touch with me with any questions or concerns.

4. Work through the activities and steps of the study, submitting responses as you go.

5. Please provide feedback and comments, suggestions, ideas, etc. about this web-based based independent study at any point to help improve it and your own experience with it... praise is ok too.
