Morry Fiddler

is a Professor with the School for New Learning. I received a Ph.D. in Human Genetics from the University of Minnesota and am as interested in how adults learn as in how their genes work. In addition to working with SNL students, which I have done for over 15 years, I am working on noninvasive prenatal diagnosis strategies, early sexual differentiation, internet based education in cancer genetics and the nature of learning from experience.

As the instructor of this course, I have several responsibilities:

• to provide you with clear articulations of what is expected to demonstrate each of the competences
• to ask questions of each of you that will stimulate your learning
• to respond to questions and provide feedback that will help you to learn
• to respond to you within reasonable limits of time to help make your learning rich as well as efficient.

I will assume I am doing fine on these things until I hear otherwise from you.
