Format

The midterm will be comprehensive. Review the lecture notes. Remember that associated readings from the text should be reviewed also (i.e. Chapters 1 - 9).

The exam will be ninety minutes but it is possible to complete all questions in 60 minutes. The exam will be divided into two sections.

• Technical:

  This section will be on the Basis Path testing technique. Problems will be similar to those discussed in class and will be no more difficult.

  Try these practice problems. Remember that solutions are available.

• Descriptive:

  Be prepared to discuss basic concepts and terminology. You may be asked to "compare and contrast" so make sure you have a good understanding. To aid your preparation review the meaning of the following terms/phrases:
