Schedule/Week 5:

WEEK 5:   Using Case Studies and Observation; Strategies for Collaborative Projects

          This class will focus on case study method, research by observation, and strategies
          for developing tutorials or guided readings.      
          
          We will also spend some time discussing ways to record and interpret results.

          Finally, we will discuss experimental design issues and analysis, including a brief
                        review of descriptive statistics.                             


          Homework:  Read chapters 8, 19, and 10 of True; skim chapter 11 of True.
          Keep notes about any questions you have.
          
          Complete your literature review and a final draft of your Assessment Contract.  


     Presentations by Doris & Margaret (case studies), Wanda (observational research),
     and Larry & Bob (recording the data).
