Students may miss one of the six meetings of the colloquium; as a courtesy, please inform Jean in advance if at all possible. Because so much of performance in the colloquium depends upon class participation, if it becomes necessary to miss more than one meeting, special arrangements must be made with the instructor. However, the usual policy of the program is that students who miss more than one class meeting must repeat the colloquium with another cluster. Students who must miss a class meeting may wish to have it audiotaped by a cluster colleague.
