Course Format: The assigned readings must be completed by the date of the topic in order to facilitate class discussion. The class will consist of some lecture and much discussion. Each student will be responsible for providing discussion questions (at least two) before the beginning of each class. The student will attempt to provide an initial written answer to each study question submitted. Students will be responsible for class discussion and at least two class presentations of one of the assigned readings. I expect that all students will be knowledgeable about the information described in Chapters 3, 4, 5 in the textbook since these chapters will form the context of what is read in the other chapters.
