Professional Facilitators Joyce Hollingsworth ![]() Areas of Expertise
Joyce Hollingsworth has extensive experience with over 75 government and non-profit organizations providing management consulting, organizational development, strategic planning, meeting facilitation and training. With past experience as both Program Director and Executive Director of organizations, Hollingsworth brings a wealth of first hand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing non-profit and government organizations. Her 15 years of consulting focuses on practical and participatory methods that leverage the unique strengths of the organization resulting in increased capacity to address challenges. Her practical and interactive methods build teamwork, develop consensus, focus direction, clarify next steps, and facilitate cooperative action to achieve measurable results. Before moving into full-time consulting, Joyce was the Executive Director of the Government Assistance Program (GAP). Prior to that, Hollingsworth was at the Chicago Community Trust and the Metropolitan Chicago Coalition on Aging. She received her Masters Degree at the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration with a concentration in management and policy. Hollingsworth spent 20 years working and living in Chicago and now has her office and home in NW Indiana while she maintains an active client base in Chicago.
