Professional Facilitators Dolores J. Smith ![]() Areas of Expertise
DOLORES J. SMITH, prior to forming her consulting practice in 1983, spent twelve years as a human resource generalist for Jewel Food Stores and two years as Director of Administrative Services at WTTW Chicago. Since 1984, she has been adjunct faculty in the graduate department at Columbia College Chicago. Dolores began consulting with the Government Assistance Program in 1992. Clients include the Chicago Public Library, Public Building Commission, Cook County Department of Facilities Management, Chicago Department of Transportation, Chicago Department of Sewers, Chicago Department of Aviation, City of Highland Park, Chicago Department of Environment, Chicago Public Schools and the Mayor's Office of Workforce Development. Dolores earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Roosevelt University in Chicago, a M.A. degree in Communications from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and completed post-graduate work in Organization and Systems Development and Coaching at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. She received additional training in Organizational Development (Princeton University), Management by Objectives (University of Michigan), and Sensitivity Training (National Training Laboratory).
