Cinda Rierson is an independent consultant who has been instrumental in working with people to revitalize, expand, and increase their individual effectiveness and the capacity of their organizations. This is accomplished through enhancing leadership abilities, management skills, and teamwork. Clients call on Cinda Rierson when they want a consultant, facilitator, trainer or professional coach to create an approach customized to their unique situation. Her highly interactive methods and practical technique result in empowering people at all levels of the organization to identify the root causes of problems and to build consensus for change directed toward creative and workable solutions. In her work with not-for-profit organizations and associations nationwide and with federal, state and local government groups, she is often called on to:

Biographical Statement
Cinda Rierson brings to her work thirty years of experience as a manager, consultant, trainer, and coach. Since 1989, Ms Rierson has managed a successful consulting practice working with government groups and nonprofit agencies. Just prior to establishing her private practice, Ms. Rierson worked for ten years with Girl Scouts of the USA providing comprehensive management consulting services to clients nationwide and serving as adjunct faculty for their conference/training center in New York. Ms Rierson was selected to train trainers for USA Girl Scouts Overseas in Seoul, Korea and in Tama Hills, Japan. In the years preceding her work as a consultant, Ms. Rierson managed a year-round conference/ program center, administered preschools, developed programs for youth, and taught in two public school systems.

Ms. Rierson was educated at George Williams College where she received the M.S. degree and at the University of Maryland where she received the B.S. degree.

The Illinois Manufacturing Association selected Ms. Rierson as a judge for their Team Excellence Award for four years. Ms Rierson is an active member and past president of the Association of Consultants to Nonprofits and a Standards Visitor for the American Camping Association.
