• The first class meeting of IT240, section 601, is on Monday, Mar 31, 11:50 to 1:20pm in the Loop.

• For saving your homework assignments and projects, it would be very convienent if you owned a memory stick (128meg, 256meg, or 512meg).

• Go to ID Services to apply for your student computer account if you do not already have one. The account is also used for student email. Click on Personal Sites for Students for more infromation.

• Have a look at our new Course OnLine web (COLweb). You'll need your campusconnect login and password to get in. This is the system you will be using to submit your homework assignments and view your grades.

  Course materials, such as syllabus, announcements, course documents, assignments, discussion forums, lecture recordings and grades, will be available to you through the new COLweb site and/or from our Course Website. COLweb replaces the old DLweb system that you may have used in past CTI courses. I recommend that you log on to this site (using your campusconnect login and password) as soon as possible to try things out – most of it will be very familiar to you if you have used DLweb in the past.

  Every page in COLweb has built-in help and information available in an information box at the top right part of the page – click the “+” to see the topics. If you have any problems using the system, click the link titled “Having Trouble? Click Here” at the bottom of any page and your questions will be promptly answered by COLweb support staff.
