Note: it is highly unethical for anyone else
to help you with this online training. You must complete it yourself. These
are the ethical guidlines for working with real people.
Complete the BASIC COURSE and submit the PDF of the full completion report only giving your
actual scores for the tests on each of the sub modules (about 17 modules
scored by percentage correct). I don't need to see your certificate, though
I reserve the right to ask for it later to verify authenticity through the
web registration number if I have trouble with verification through the report.

Up to 40 points.

Sign-up link ]. Sona Systems gives credit in 0.5 point
increments. Every 0.5 Sona points translates into 10 class extra credit
points (after the first [0.25—0.5] points for just signing up). Thus,
for example a 1.5 point study (after registration) = 30 class points. I will
get a report from the Sona organizers, but as a backup, post to D2L the
briefest description of date, hours spent and which study or studies you
participated in to make sure I add the credit at the end of the
quarter. [This extra credit option may not always be available, especially
in the summer quarters.]

—follow the "Request Account" link. You will get a password in
email, then can log in and register for studies by date. WARNING: (a) NEVER
use a password for Sona that has ANY relationship to any of your other
passwords. It has been my past experience that Sona has been very lax about
protecting passwords! (b) Be careful about which studies you sign up for. I
have no control over which studies are posted. Let caution be your guide.
- ?? Points. Hats off! When students are particularly helpful to
other students on the forums and elsewhere, and I notice it, I give
small tokens of extra credit to them in this column to say thanks, and "Hat's
off to you!"
