Class attendance is generally requried. Because sometimes tricky issues are discussed we often turn off recording of the lecture in CSC208. Much discussion will take place in class, and this is an important part of the course. Thus, if you are not present, and not participating, you are, defacto, missing part of the course which cannot be made up.

For this reason, attendance will be taken on days when discussion takes place. Full attendance on these days is required for full credit toward your grade.
