Scenario: Maria walks out of the Lewis Center and is surrounded by men in
white coats. "Sorry," they say, "You've been selected to save the lives,
sight, and well-being of forty people by donating your organs."
Form a discussion group. Agree to take differing ethical points of
view. Work out at least one version of Act Utilitarian analysis (with the
numbers!). Write up [two pages of] notes to prepare for your ethical
discussion, based on a formal ETHICAL THEORY, print them, and bring them to
class for discussion.
