My Passions

Speaking of passions, I love natural beauty especially the mountains.  Quite frankly, ever since I came to America I never had a chance to go out and really experience the natural beauty.  Part of the reason for that is my busy schedule and partly its because I am stuck in Chicago, IL.  (Don't get me wrong, I love Chicago but when it comes to the natural beauty the landscape here ...)

I was an active member of a well organized hiking club - the Hiking Club - in Pakistan.  There I happened to go on some really interesting hiking trips, the best of them all was Sho Pass (approx. 14,000 ft.) and the Valley of Swatt.  I also did a Mountaineering Leadership Course but never actually got a chance to go on a proper mountaineering expedition up till now (Well, I say up till now because here in America, I am really planning on going to Alaska or the Rocky Mountains as soon as get a chance - Inshallah.)
