Gan Yeladim - A Skokie institution, the Gan is
an educational, enriching, and fun Jewish Preschool
where your child can grow and learn.
We provide a nurturing and warm environment for your child in
a flexible setting that offers morning programs as well as more extended
hours for lunch and day care. We're here to help provide an environment full
of fun and Yiddishkeit, a perfect pre-school or day care community your
child will enjoy.
Our Gan programs include time for drawing, painting, reading, and
singing. Many of the programs are centered on the Jewish Holidays and
their meaning, and have lots of activities to help children learn about
Jewish year.
There are also many family oriented events such as a Hannukah
celebration,a Family Havdallah, and more.
Our day care setting provides for additional playtime opportunities,
along with a nutritious lunch and time for a relaxing nap.
Additional enrichment classes incorporating other aspects of Jewish
Culture (e.g. cooking, dancing, art) are also available.
Our Program
The Gan Programs are designed to give parents a flexible, yet structured
and nurturing environment for your preschool child. We have programs
available for all children ages 2-5. Both half-day programs and
full-day day care programs are available.
Our Philosophy
Niles Township Jewish Congregation is affiliated with both
the Reconstructionist and Conservative Movements. We are committed
to educating our children
in an atmosphere of respect and acceptance for all Jews,
from any background and at every level of religious observance.

Betsy Rotberg
We are proud to have Betsy Rotberg as our Gan Director, leading us
in our goal of an exciting and inspiring Early Jewish Education
for all children.
Betsy has been involved with our Gan for over 15 years,
as teacher, assistant director,and director.
She has a degree in Social Work, and many hours of training
in Early Childhood Education.
Our Faculty
Our teachers are a group of creative, professional teachers trained in
early childhood education. Our faculty is dedicated to the idea that each
child deserves an exciting Jewish Preschool Education where each child feels
valued. Our goal is to provide a place where children can feel
comfortable to learn and grow, in an atmosphere that incorporates Jewish
values and Jewish culture, as well as the opportunity for children to play and
have fun together.

Our Pricing for Half-day and Full Day Programs is as follows:
Half-Day Program
Five Days - $ 250/mo
Four Days - $ 222/mo
Three Days - $ 188/mo
Day Care Program
For full day care, add the following amounts to the Half-Day fees
Five Days - $ 430/mo
Four Days - $ 344/mo
Three Days - $ 257/mo
