Profile:
Ramiro J. Atristaín-Carrión has more than 10 years of experience in the fields of investment management and information management.  His work experience includes the management of assets and investment portfolios and recently the development of eBusiness intelligence strategies.  He is an Assistant Vice President at Bank of Montreal U.S. Group of Companies/Harris Bank where he works in the deployment of eBusiness intelligence.  Previously, he was the Managing Director of USHCC Small Business Equity Fund, a specialized venture capital investment fund, a Senior Vice President at Capri Capital where he directed the Asset Management for the firm, and prior to Capri he was with the Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank.  His earlier work there, includes experience as both an analyst and information technology investments specialist.

In addition to his investment management and advisory activities, Atristaín is Visiting Faculty at DePaul University.  He serves as an Investment Advisor to an endowment fund in Chicago and as a Trustee for the Board of Grant Hospital.  He the Chairman Emeritus of the Board of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA).  He is the Board Chair of the International Latino Cultural Center in Chicago.  He is a member of the National Association for Business Economics and the American Society of Association Executives.
He holds a Master of Business Administration degree with specialization in Finance and Information Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology, a Bachelors degree in Economics from Dominican University, and an AA degree in Computer Science.  He is an Honorary member of the Academy of Management, a 1997 Honorary Professional inductee to Sigma Iota Epsilon—Management Fraternity, has received the Illinois Secretary of State Volunteer Recognition and the Graduate of the Decade Award from Dominican University.  He is fluent in Spanish, Italian and conversant in Japanese.
