Jane Halpert, Ph.D.

Barbara O. Lewis, Ph.D., Professional Outreach Program Coordinator

Dr. Lewis conducts organizational analysis and diagnosis for her Fortune 500 clients. She then works with her clients to plan meaningful changes (if warranted). Barbara's preferred role is that of researcher, facilitator and coach. She has worked with organizations to assess employee and customer satisfaction, evaluate operations, track marketing effectiveness, analyze jobs into component tasks and skills, build a corporate training university, and restructure operations for improved organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Some of her more well known clients include: Oracle; Wells Fargo Bank; Bank of America; NEC; Microsoft; Tektronix; Sun Microsystems; the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco; Genentech; the Allstate Insurance Company; Barnett Bank; Home Savings; Cemex Mexico; and Consulting Psychologists Press.

Barbara Lewis was an honor student at the University of Illinois - Chicago where she received her B.A. in Psychology. She went to the University of Tennessee where she received her Ph.D. in Organizational/Community Psychology. Barbara Lewis is a past president of the San Francisco Chapter of the International Society for Performance Improvement and she sat on the board of the San Francisco Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, C-ISPI, CC-ASTD and the Chicago Organization Development Network.

Jane Ranshaw, MBA

Jane Ranshaw is president of Jane Ranshaw & Associates, Inc. Since 1979, she has provided training and communication consulting services to Fortune 500 companies and other organizations. In addition, she is the author of 101 Tips for Marketing Your Services.

Ms. Ranshaw completed her MBA at The University of Chicago and her BS degree in Business at Indiana University. She is certified in a variety of training and organizational approaches. Her education and business experience give her a unique perspective on the challenges facing organizations in the 1990s.

She is a former president of the Independent Writers of Chicago and has served on the boards of the Chicago Chapter of the International Society for Performance Improvement, the American Society of Training and Development, and the Society for Technical Communication. Ms. Ranshaw is included in Who's Who of American Women. She is active in her community and a frequent speaker before business, professional and civic groups.

Charles E. Schutt, M.A.

Charles Schutt leverages a professional background that embraces a unique amalgam of education, training, psychology, administration and management to help clients enhance their organization's productivity and profitability through individual effectiveness. He combines his acumen in communication, teaching and qualitative research in his values-based leadership practice.

Mr. Schutt has created, marketed and presented inspirational, motivational and leadership training presentations for up to 1000 participants at a time on both local and national levels. These training sessions focused on personal and professional skills, strategy and change management, and the influence of values and norms within individuals and organizations.

Charles Schutt has a Bachelor of Philosophy degree from Loyola University of Chicago, a Master of Philosophy degree from St. Mary of the Lake University in Mundelein and a Master of Management degree in Organizational Behavior and Marketing from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University.

Kenneth H. Silber, Ph.D.

Dr. Silber is a Performance Technology/Instructional Design professional with 30 years of experience in corporate, nonprofit, academic and consulting settings, both domestic and international. Areas of expertise include:

Dr. Westgaard is a Senior Consultant with Hale Associates. He has been an applied researcher and university instructor for over 30 years.
