For the 1999-2000 academic year, DePaul University's School for New Learning (SNL) is sponsoring a series of events on the theme of "connections," exploring the many social and personal implications of this term. Consonant with this theme, and in the spirit of SNL's dedication to inquiry and creativity, we are presenting the film series entitles "Connections and Transformations" in the Winter and Spring quarters of 2000. The series comprises five film programs exploring connection and transformation from a variety of cultural, social, and political perspectives.
Organized by Michael DeAngelis
(of the SNL faculty), the festival is open to all DePaul students, alumni,
faculty, staff, and the greater Chicagoland community. Admission
to all programs is free. All programs will be held on Friday evenings
at 7:00 p.m., at 254 Schmitt Academic Center (SAC) on the Lincoln Park
Campus.
