- Bill Steinke received his Bachelors' degree, with honors (Upsilon Chapter Phi Sigma Society), from Miami University. He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA), with distinction, from Benedictine University.
He has worn numerous hats during his working career, most recently as a logistics services manager supporting numerous business units within BP Chemicals in Naperville, Illinois. Prior to that and for almost 22 years, he served TTX Company in a wide variety of management positions. He has worked in production, quality assurance, sales, marketing, customer service, business planning, material management including operations, planning and control, distribution, transportation, supply chain management, fleet management, logistics, distribution analysis and technical support.
He is an APICS (The Educational Society for Resource Management) CPIM/CIRM Qualified Instructor and teaches Fundamentals along with all certification review courses. In addition to earning the certified fellow (CFPIM) and certified resource management (CIRM) designations from APICS, he is also a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) and an Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.) through the NAPM (National Association of Purchasing Management), and also teaches C.P.M. certification review courses. He not only serves APICS and his local Chicago Chapter as an instructor, but also is the subcommittee chairperson for the CPIM/CIRM certification instructional public review programs. He is also a qualified (Philip B. Crosby Associates) continuous improvement and total quality management instructor. In his spare time he is an avid reader and as such, is part of a committee that reviews potential resource items for APICS Society (national) prior to their becoming approved educational materials and a part of the international APICS Educational Materials Catalog.
