The Topics
The Creative Colloaborating seven session program, accredited by DePaul University, teaches you the building blocks and skills needed to create a powerful team environment and lets you experience them first hand.
Module 1 - Creating Team Climate - Discover and explore the behaviors necessary to create an environment ready for creating and therefore innovating.
Module 2 - Communicating and Collaborating Skills - Integrate new principles and philosophies of collaborative communication with practiced skills. Learn new ways of listening and responding that enhance your ability to hear others and to be heard.
Module 3 - Problem Solving Processes - Work through a creative problem solving/idea generating process. Address a relevant work place issue while learning tools you can use again and again to solve problems and explore opportunities.
Module 4 - Idea Excursion - Experience and connect to one of Chicago's finest performance art teams working their magic live!
Module 5 - Understanding Myself and My Team Mates - Become aware of your own and others styles of creating. Awaken to the unique way each team member participates in the group.
Module 6 - Creativity Tools - Learn a set of tools that can help you create novel ideas and solutions.
Module 7 - En-Visioning - Connect to what you want to create in the future by taking a creative risk. Learn a tool to tap into your beyond-logic knowing.
The Leo V. Ryan Center For Creativity & Innovation
DePaul's newly created Ryan Center, located in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, is dedicated to helping organizations enhance creative discovery and business innovation through experiential learning.
Our teaching team is comprised of faculty from the Kellstadt School of Business and top business professionals, who have made creativity and innovation a focal point of their professional development.
Who Should Attend?
The Creative Collaborating Certificate Program is for anyone interested in finally learning skills and tools to work more effectively with colleagues. For maximum impact in your organization, consider the "whole Team" optioin.
The Whole Team Option
This program can be delivered to an entire in-tact team at times convenient to team. Think of the power of everyone on your team having the same set of experiences, skills and language to co-create from. The whole team choosing to enroll is truly a "team building" experience that gets you real results.

The Faculty
DePaul University's Management Development Center features professors from DePaul's Department of Management, who teach in conjunction with top business professionals from the Chicagoland area.
Faculty Expertise
Lisa Gundry teaches courses in Entrepreneurship New Venture Management and Creativity in Business. She helped design the Charles H. Kellstadt's Graduate School of Business award winning Entrepreneurship program. Dr. Gundry has co-authored "Blueprints for Innovation," published by the American Management Association. She has researched creative best practices in many organizations, and is a frequent speaker to executive groups and corporations on creativity and innovation. In 1997, she won the Innovation in Business Education award by the Mid-Continent East Association of AACSB. In 1994, Dr. Gundry was given the Excellence in Teaching Award by DePaul University's Quality of Instruction Council.
The Cost
Individual Option - The entire 7 session program cost is $3,500 per person, paid at once, prior to the program start date. Includes required textbooks, materials, attraction entrance fees, meals and snacks.
The Whole Team Option - The entire program can be provided for the whole team, at a cost of $3,000 per person. You determine the start date and location based on your team availability. (Includes required textbooks and materials.) The minimum number of people is 15, max 20.
