Why
We're Different
There are many reasons
why the full-time MBA program is very competetive:
- Since the program
began in 1994, diversity has been the first consideration in crafting
an entering class. We believe that by having large numbers of international
students to compliment the domestic students, an exciting environment
is created that encourages openness to different cultures and leads
enhanced creativity. In addition to the international diversity, the
full-time MBA program also focuses on attracting people with different
academic backgrounds, unique work experiences and varied career goals
to enhance the experience for all students.
- By using the diverse
workforce as a model for the MBA program, the emphasis is not only on
applying business skills, but also on developing the cross-cultural
communication skills necessary within a team environment. This method
assures that while basic business skills are taught, the focus is also
on sharing best business practices from around the world.
- In addition to
focusing on the basic business skills required by contemporary corporations,
students receive advanced training as well. DePaul offers 18 concentrations
following completion of core course work.
- IB 798 offers
MBA's the opportunity to apply for internships either in U.S. or abroad.
- Students in the
full-time MBA program are offered numerous opportunities to network
with alumni and business executives throughout Chicago. The Executive
Speaker Series, MBA Storytellers and events sponsored by Kellstadt's
Career Management Center will
help you to "Connect"
- DePaul offers
a vibrant & active commerce Advisory Counsil:
