King-Lup Liu received his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Illinois at Chicago, in 1999. He joined the School of Computer Science, Telecommunications and Information Systems, Depaul University in 1999 as a visiting assistant professor.
