The four story, $25 million building is the first free standing library in DePaul's history. The 190,000 square foot building provides shelf space for 650,000 volumes, state-of-the-art
information technology, 1,100 study seats, three conference rooms, three study lounges and 14 group study rooms. The Library was named and dedicated in honor of the Very Reverend John T. Richardson, ninth president of DePaul.
