Dark City

The film will deal with a city full of humans under the rule and observation of an alien species known as The Strangers and their pet human mad scientist. The film will have an extremely Philip K. Dick style with a feel similar to the unique style of Blade Runner and The Crow. The movie begins with the main character waking up naked in an apartment, a futuristic syringe nearby, along with a dead prostitute. From there he struggles to find out what happened to him that he doesn't remember and it leads him to The Strangers who can manipulate memories with their psychic 'warping' abilities. There is a very, very good trailer out that shows a very dark, gothic atmosphere that stylishly blends futuristic items and setting with '50s architecture, trench coats, and cars. Also, the name of the film was Dark City on the trailer.

Premise: A man awakes in a strange city and believes that he is responsible for a murder. When he delves into the mystery further he finds out that not only have his memories been artificially created, but so has his reality
