Micorsoft Access Database

The database that we have used is derived from one of the examples that Microsoft provides with the software. It is extremely easy to install and setup and we have made modifications to the data as well as the schema to better suit our needs. After the modifications to the original example database, here is what our database looks like:

As is clear from the above diagram, the PurchaseOrder table is the center form of the schema while all the other tables join to it to complete the description of an order. As a test database, we have only created 5 main categories of products (Systems, Multimedia, Monitors, Peripherals and Software) and a total of 23 products in inventory.
